- For whatever reason Windows 2008 and Windows 7 has a bug that causes the Num Lock, the Scroll Lock, and the Caps Lock to turn off without the users permission. The following link is to a free download to an application called NumLocker that several of our customers have found useful: http://numlocker.en.softonic.com/ (NOTE: This site may or may not be 100% spyware free, so be sure to download it from a PC, and then transfer and run the file from the server to install it).
- How to use Num Locker
- Download and install the application.
- Right click on the quick launch icon (that looks like an Orange Capital N in the in the bottom right hand corner of your screen)
- Click whichever Lock option you want and enable the 'always on' option.
