Using WebService Stock Checking and Ordering (using the QPC)

Requirements 

• Your Supplier Needs to have OneSource and OneSource Web Services setup.
• Your Supplier needs to have you as a customer in their OneSource.

Setup

• In Company Setup & Preferences -> Suppliers -> Tab Options check the "Web Service Setup" box.
• Go to the "Web Service Setup" tab for the supplier you are enabling this feature for.
• Check Allow Purchase Order Webservice For This Supplier
• Enter their Server Address or IP Address for Server (Such as http://www.onesourcesoftware.net)
• Enter /osOnlineService/WebService1.asmx for the Path
• Enter the OneSource Customer Number that represents you in their system for Sender ID (Such as: 5)

Use

• On the Quick Price Check screen click the Check Stock button
• Clicking the first button to the right of the Supplier Name will ask their system for the amount of that part they have in stock.
• Clicking the second button to the right of the Supplier Name will order the Item from the supplier and create a corresponding PO in your system.
