How To Allow Pop-Ups in Google Chrome
If a certain website is regularly visited and would want to selectively allow pop-ups from that website.
How to Allow Pop-Ups in Google Chrome Desktop
- Open Chrome web browser and navigate the site that wanted to allow the pop-ups on.
- Click the lock icon found at the left of the address bar.
- In the pop-up, click 'Site Settings' and scroll down to 'Pop-ups and redirects', choose 'Allow' from the drop-down list.
NOTE: Click the Pop-up blocked that appears in the address bar when navigating the site. Click the link of the pop-up and select 'Always allow pop-up and redirects from [name of the site]' and then click 'Done'.
How to Allow ALL Pop-Ups in Google Chrome Desktop
- Open Chrome web browser.
- Click the three vertical dots found in the top-right of the browser window.
- Click 'Settings' and will be redirected to Chrome Settings.
- Click 'Security and Privacy'
- Click 'Site Settings'.
- Scroll down to the 'Content" section and click 'Pop-ups and redirects'.
- In the 'Pop-ups and redirects' page, scroll to 'Default behavior' section, choose 'Sites can send pop-ups and use redirects'.
- In this page, scroll to 'Customized behaviors', to list websites that allows or blocks pop-ups or use redirects.
- To allow various sites to send pop-ups or use redirects:
- Scroll down to 'Allowed to send pop-ups and use redirects' click the 'Add' button at the right side.
- 'Add a site' pop-up will appear, past the URL of the site.
- Click 'Add'.
- To block sites from sending pop-ups or use redirects:
- Scroll down to 'Not allowed to send pop-ups and use redirects' click the 'Add' button at the right side.
- 'Add a site' pop-up will appear, past the URL of the site.
- Click 'Add'.
NOTE: Make sure that 'Don't allow sites to send pop-ups or use redirects' is selected under 'Default behavior' section.
