To install Google Desktop Sharing (Google Remote Desktop), follow these steps:

1. Install Google Chrome (If Not Already Installed)

Google Remote Desktop requires Google Chrome. If you don’t have it installed:

        Go to Google Chrome’s website

        Download and install it.

2. Install Chrome Remote Desktop

     1. Go to the Chrome Remote Desktop Website

       Visit https://remotedesktop.google.com/

     2. Download the Chrome Remote Desktop Extension

Click on “Access my computer” or “Set up remote access”

Click “Download” and install the extension from the Chrome Web Store.

     3. Set Up Remote Access (If You Want to Control Your Own PC Remotely)

Open Chrome and go to remotedesktop.google.com/access

Click “Turn On” under “Set up remote access.”

Follow the on-screen instructions to install the Chrome Remote Desktop Host Installer.

Set a PIN for security (this will be required for remote access).

3. Grant Permissions

The installation process may ask for admin permissions. Click “Allow” or “Yes” when prompted.

Ensure you enable remote connections and allow access to the necessary system features.

4. Access Another Computer (For Remote Support)

If you want to connect to another computer, you need a sharing code:

     1. Ask the other person to visit remotedesktop.google.com/support

     2. They should click “Generate Code” under “Share this screen.”

     3. Enter the generated access code in your “Connect to another computer” section.

5. Start Using Google Remote Desktop

Once installed, you can access and control your computer remotely from any device by logging into remotedesktop.google.com and entering the security PIN.
