How to Manually create RMA's (using the PO)

NOTE: This assumes you have already received the parts on the purchase orders they came in with.  If not, go to the original purchase orders and receive the parts first.  This ensures that the parts are already in inventory when you go to create the RMA.

  • Go to Purchasing > Add New Purchase Order
  • Look under the Purchase Order Number for the "RMA" Check box and click on it (This turns the PO into RMA).
  • Enter the supplier you wish to return to.
  • Enter the item(s) you wish to return and enter -1 for the quantity for each item.  The negative quantity pulls the item out of inventory.
  • Click on the Recd check box.
  • After this step, One Source will pull the item out of stock and it can now be returned to the supplier.
