How to Link to a Data File using the Data Source screenTo be completed at a later time. How the Linking Process Works for 3rd Party Database Integrations- Powerlink:
- Tables that need to be setup up, if in use:
- How the linking process works if NOT in use:
How the Custom Table Linking Process Works.- For First time Custom table Linking.
- Open up the 'Data Source' form. Then click on the 'Browse' button and select the Distributed data file path.
- Turn on the related table Name line Custom Check Box. Then browse the Custom Distributed DB path and select it.
- It will automatically update Connection String (Path) field to Custom Distributed DB Path. And it will turn OFF the Custom Check Box.
- Press on the 'Update Table' button to update all connection string fields.
- Finally press on the 'Link All Tables Now' button.
- Custom Table Linking from other Copy of OS.
- Open up the 'Data Source' form. Then click on the 'Browse' button and select the Distributed data file path.
- Turn on the related table Name line 'Custom' Check Box.
- Press on the 'Update Table' button. It will automatically update 'Connection String (Path)' and 'Custom Distributed DB Path' fields to Custom Distributed DB Path.
- Finally press on the 'Link All Tables Now' button. It will link all tables to related table links.
